This place is pretty awesome! The food was FANTASTIC. I had the Crabcake Eggs Benedict, and it was so so good. I ordered it on a croissant instead of an English Muffin, which I highly recommend, because they use "croissant buns" which are fully capable of holding the Poached Eggs, Crab, and Hollandaise Sauce. Add a side of cheddar cheese grits and you're in business. The service was really great, and there was only one server. The restaurant isn't busy, probably because no one knows about it. It's a hotel restaurant. The hotel looks a little trashy, but it's on the water, there's a beautiful little private beach, there's really just a lot more than meets the eye, so people aren't driving by thinking, "hey I should try that place!" It's going to be hotel guests and professional yelpers that find this place. The best thing though, is the price. $11 for 2 crab cakes alone is a pretty good deal, but the crab cakes were just a part of the meal. And it's the most expensive thing I could ordered. Love this place. Will return!

Great restaurant and was a little questionable from the outside but inside it was great! The view from the patio was amazing. Eating dinner with the sun setting was perfect! I had the shrimp and grits it was great... Bacon was not fresh but was still great. The fried green tomatoes were great and the fried shrimp was ok maybe a little over breaded.

Fantastic food, excellent service, beautiful sunset view and the price is right! A hidden Gulf Breeze gem.

Don't let the outside looks of a hotel restaurant deceive you, this place is great! It is so much better than places that have occupied this little area before and deserves to be recognized as one of the only good restaurants in Gulf Breeze. I've had great food from here and I haven't been disappointed. As far as GB goes, this is probably 5 stars.

I'll start by saying the food was good, not great but pretty good. I had a special made with the catch of the day; snapper. My wife had a grilled shrimp dish. Both were a fair price for the food provided and tasted like they were made fresh. The snapper was a little overcooked, but otherwise tasty. The confusion was the decor vs the type of food and location. We loved sitting out on the patio on the water. The view was great with a nice warm breeze. The furniture was Walmarty. There was rope lighting with burned out bulbs. The fence along the dining area was broken in a number spots. The main dining area was nicely laid out tables in a room that looked like it had been a low-rent buffet place prior. The menus were nice with choices that appeared to be chef-crafted plates. The table cloths inside where material. No table cloths outside. The signage on the the outside didn't indicate where the main entrance was, and we walked into an arched way that had a cafe sign, and turned out we walked in the back and had to go through the dining area to get to the hostess. Three other couples did the same thing while we ate so apparently we weren't the only ones confused. The main entrance was far from inviting and didn't give any indication that this was trying to be a nice restaraunt. I guess the main point I am trying to make is that the decor has tremendous potential and there appears to be some disparity between the message the food and menu sends and the decor that is presented while you eat. That being said, it is worthwhile to give this place a try.

This place might actually be made of magic. We wandered in after checking into the Quality Inn. Small live band singing Fly Me To the Moon, breezy candle lit porch seating, a honey margarita that I will be going back for tonight, friendly service.... The list goes on and on. We tried the Bacon topped Brie spinach and artichoke dip, which was to die for. The boyfriend had the catfish with the 3 sauces (a corn sauce, a crawfish sauce, and the low country boil risotto) and nearly licked his plate. The pasta with shrimp was so good too! Bananas Foster pie is definitely worth your time! Such a pleasant surprise!!

Went here for brunch on a Sunday morning and it was absolutely phenomenal. Great atmosphere, exquisite view of the bay, live music, and the food was delicious. Prices were very reasonable too. We both had an Eggs Benedict plate as well as two Mimosas each, and the meal only cost $33!!! Will definitely be here again

Meal was very good but the service was awful! We were seated out on the patio and literally forgotten. Once we made it known we were still interested in eating, we were neglected repeatedly.

Wow! Traveling through and stayed the night. Yelp reviews helped us decide to eat here. Amazing food, great service, amazing views. Highly recommend.

As stated below, don't let the street view deter you from this restaurant. We stopped on a business trip after reading the reviews on Yelp. Best meal I have had in a long time!

I have to say, I beg to differ with the previous reviews. Perhaps they have a different cook now. I ordered a cup of Gumbo and ask to have it first. When she finally brought it. It was very good. I also ordered a ceazar salad with grilled chicken and my husband ordered a burger with fries. When that food arrived, I had barely finished the gumbo. But we were very hungry and happy the food had arrived. I'm looking at the ceazar salad in amazement. There was a head of Romain lettuce on the plate that was cut in half lengthwise. It appeared to be grilled somewhat and the end was still attached. The croutons were on one side of the plate. The whole chicken breast laying on top in two large pieces. No parmasian and some dressing poured over it that did not taste like ceazar dressing and not very good. So I cut the ends of the lettuce and proceeded to try to cut up this lettuce and the chicken. It dawned on me that this was a real workout and I had never seen grilled lettuce. I was really losing my appetite. I decided to send it back. I got up to go talk to someone because the waitress had not been by. I ran into her and told her that I was not happy with that salad. I told her I would eat the chicken but I would take vegetables on the side.. In the mean time my husband was not that thrilled with his burger, but he did eat most of it. I don't think he much enjoyed it. Here comes the waitress with the chicken on a saucer and placed it in front of me. She says the veggies will be out when they are done cooking them. We look at each other and I say... why wouldn't you keep the chicken in the kitchen and make it warm again and serve it on the plate with the veggies. It is now cold. At this point I have completely lost my appetite and do not want to pay for this overpriced debacle. I ask to see the manager and he was too tied up to come out. We got up, paid for the gumbo and the burger plate and left. We are staying at the Quality Inn next door and now have to get in our vehicle and drive looking for someplace to get me something to eat. No I don't recommend this place but yes the view is outstanding. But what a drag of an evening!

Top notch local flavor in food, beverage and service. The sunset seals the deal on my rating.

I never expected such a unique spot with absolutely delicious food and an amazing view on the water! Don't be reluctant just by location or appearance. This place was much better than most of the other "popular/recommended" waterfront properties. The service, food and quality was all around a fantastic surprise. If decor was given a little décor update - this place would give competitors a true run for the $

The hamburger was fantastic. The bacon Brie & spinach dip was dynamite. The selection of locally brewed beer was impressive. We didn't get dessert because we were full but next time I'll hit their dessert selection up. I can't wait!

Dining at La Brisa for brunch today, sorry that I came so far. Service has been God awful, starting with a private party of 10 sitting next to us that the servers were not prepared to handle (which for brunch that is not an unusual number...). My fiancé and I ordered bloody mary's, which tasted ok, but I noticed that the table next to us had celery with theirs, so I asked the server if we could get celery to which she replied they did not have any celery. I said that I did not understand, and pointed out that the table next to us literally had a cup full of it. She informed me that that is out of the ordinary and that they had no celery for "us" and that we could not even pay extra for it. Then the shrimp appetizer came out, but we had no napkins or silverware. I asked this same woman for silverware because our server could not be located, and then after eating oily shrimp without a napkin for 15 minutes my fiancé finally got up and retrieved it from the inside dining area for us. The servers here have no concept of what good service is and keep "looking" at the dining area without actually asking how any of the tables are doing. There is a couple in front of us that waiting an unreasonable amount of time for their food in front of us and are obviously uncomfortable too, which is making this experience even more so terrible. The only people seeming to enjoy their meal is the obnoxious party of 10 next to us, who are also awkwardly watching us eat our food. The only thing that is even earning this place one star is that it is on the water with a beautiful view. My stuffed french toast just arrived and it is dry as hell, too. Sorry for this long rant, but please take heed and do not come unless you want a relaxing Sunday to turn into an afternoon of pent up anger and frustration.

We spent several days at the Quality Inn next door, so had several meals here. The food is wonderful. All fresh and delicious. There are several kinds of Eggs Benedict, all yummy. Home made muffins, fresh orange juice. Perfect. Tonight we ate dinner there. My husband had shrimp Alfredo and gives it a 10, we both had the Shrimp (chowder?) - yummy! I had Salmon on Risotto and asparagus that even Chef Ramsey would have lauded. We shared a lemon cake dessert - excellent. This is not a 'eat cheap' restaurant - but we had 2 cups of soup, 2 entre's, 2 glasses of wine and 2 arlnold palmers, a coffee and 1 lemon cake and it came to about $50, and worth every cent.

Had dinner this past Saturday night. We were with several friends and sat outside. The view was fantastic! We were able to see dolphins and the sunset. I had the Pork w/ the blueberry reduction and my wife had the Blackened Shrimp. The rest of our party had various Fresh Fish selections. There were no doggie bags. We will definitely be back.

It was our first time dining here and we sat outside and the view was so gorgeous ! We watched the sunset over the water. We had crab cakes on a bed of fried green tomatoes and cheese grits with a side of grilled asparagus. The crab cakes were very good and almost solid crab. Others at our table had the burgers which were excellent. My husband had a pork dish he really liked. Service was very polite and friendly. We will definitely return for the food but also for the wonderful atmosphere and setting.

The best kept secret in Pensacola - Amazing food, great service, and the best view and sunset in town. Don't miss out and do not let the Quality Inn location scare you off. Fabulous chef, great prices, and one of the best dinner options in town.

We live in Gulf Breeze, so have eaten there several times, but maybe never again. The wine was so bad I could only take one sip. No credit - they still charged full price. In fact, we had to remind them the charge should be less since it was on Happy Hour. They tried to run it through at full price. Be sure to look at your charges.

Amazing grits! Definitely try the omelettes! I have made it for breakfast twice and enjoyed it immensely both times. The water view is a definite bonus.

The atmosphere was decent and sitting on the porch was nice. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and it was ok. I liked it, but my partner did not. "Too much "breading" he says. For an entree, we split the three cheese bacon burger with sweet potato fries and we both agree that it was GREAT! For dessert we had the red velvet cake and I would not recommend it. There were nuts in it, which I have never experienced before. Overall it gets 3 stars because the burger was good, the view was nice, and the service was decent, but we probably wouldn't come back.

Don't let looks deceive you. Atmosphere is great.... View fantastic - food was really good! From steaks, burgers and fabulous seafood. Casual, reasonable prices with great local to watch the sunset.

I echo some of the others. Who would have thought to try a restaurant at Quality Inn? If you don't it is your loss. I had the Cajun burger that was topped with crawfish in a cream sauce. It was out of this world good.

Location is amazing! We ate on the patio right on the harbor and watched the sunset. It was a gorgeous setting for dinner despite being there on a very windy night and practically having to hold down our food. That being said neither my husband nor I were impressed with the food. We were in town from Kansas City and made it our goal to eat fresh seafood for 3 days straight. Though one of the fancier restaurants we went to, and pricier, the food was our least favorite. I had crab cakes with sweet potato fries and fried green tomatoes, all of which were nothing special. The crab cakes were extra "crabby" - not too much filler, which was good, but really not much flavor and didn't have the fresh taste I was looking for on the Gulf. My husband had blackened mahi which was also average and tasted like something you could get at Bonefish Grill in Kansas. However, the hush puppies were perfectly fried and delicious. The location and patio made up for the subpar food but with dozens of other options nearby, I would probably not go back here.

Very quiet and cozy restaurant tucked away just off the bridge with a gorgeous view of the bay. The service was excellent and the food was amazing! Try the prosciutto and Mahi-Mahi it was delicious ! I'll come back again!
